CEDO (Community Enterprises Development Organization)

Community Enterprises Development Organization (CEDO) is an indigenous non-governmental organization established in 2000 by the former staff of the Irish Foundation for Cooperative Development (IFCD) in Uganda, beneficiary farmer groups under IFCD, and other interested farmers.  It was started with the aim of continuing the work and activities that IFCD had been carrying out in Masaka and Rakai Districts, since late 1995.  In addition, CEDO was also to focus on the implementation of grassroots development needs identified by the beneficiaries.   It is a membership organization. more...
